Spread them out just a bit, and placed into cover. Place them fairly close, but not exactly side by side. This allowed me to not have to worry about them when I had to worry about myself, and when I needed to worry about them, I was not in danger, normally.īy this I mean, keep an eye on them. I had them to the right, and I stuck to the left side. I let Harbinger get close to my position, which was away from Thane and Samara. I had a good shotgun, but not the Krogan Shotgun. This allowed me to take barriers down, and then have Thane or Samara use throw to toss the Collector off the platform. I also took that skill Power for Shepard that allowed me to take down barriers. I do know I gave Samara the Mattock, and she rocked with it. I'm trying to remember how I had them built, but I'm pretty sure I had everything set to maximum damage to one enemy, because the Collectors tend to stay spread out, so area affect is just wasted. Take Thane and Samara to the last battle. The others probably died because I took too powerful a team to fight the reaper. And I found at least two reasons for two dead in your answer: Mordin went with me to fight the reaper larva because well, he has Incinerate and for some reason I thought it a good idea to have Zaeed lead the second team. They should have made it penetrate shields and barriers if they wanted it to be useful. You will be tempted to do so on his Shredder ammo, but don't. Normally you want to max out Thane's Warp, Throw, and Drell Assassin. Look for advice sites on Insanity builds for both of them. They tend to pin down your teammates, making them fire back at the enemy less. Take out the Scions as fast as possible, however. It knocks them off the platforms, to their death. Use that on every Collector that is striped of barriers. Both are tough, but not so tough that you leave the others in a bind, and they have one very good advantage on that mission. If you can strip barriers, Thane and Samara are worth taking with you on the last mission. I guessed right sending him the first time, and so I always send him. I don't know who else can go with the crew and not die, but I never bothered with the others. This is also why you send Mordin with the rescued crew. The overall strength of the crew you leave behind to cover your backside, is important. Send Mordin with the rescued crew members.īring Samara or Jack to provide you with your Bubble.ĭO NOT take the two most powerful fighters with you on the last mission. Garrus and Miranda are the only two options for the Squad Leader.both times. I normally use Tali, but I think the downside to her is that you don't have all day to get her out. Which class are you playing? I need to know to advise the best people to take on the very last mission where you battle the Human Reaper.įor the tech person, there are only two viable choices. Now, I have no idea why, but even with only edited savegames in the folder ME3 still says that only nine squad members have survived.ītw: I post here since origin has rather bad forums. Since that was obviously not my intent and Mordin is replaced by some cheap replacement, I tried to "repair" my savegame with the trilogy save editor.
